I went here for the first time yesterday. I had been looking all over Valley County and Boise area for Arctic willows. They had several here!! I thought the prices were really reasonable, considering I have lived in the McCall area for 20 plus years and shopped at all nurseries around here. They had a great assortment of plants, organized in groups for deer resistance, privacy plants, hardy perennials, etc. I bought more than I came for because they just had so much good stuff! There were only 2 people working, but I found them helpful and friendly. I will Definitely be coming back in the spring!!

Save yourself, call Franz Witte. Alpha Nursery took almost three months to plant the trees we purchased, but then planted them incorrectly causing them to die. When we called to have the trees warrantied they kept saying they’d get around to planting new trees when they could but after two months they told us they were going to write us a check for $600 (for trees that we paid over $2,500 for) rather than plant new ones. Beyond that, their customer service was terrible from the start. We kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but we didn’t have one good exchange with them. We have never had this experience with Franz Witte. Seriously, save yourself do not call Alpha Nursery. Happy to provide the emails from this account if needed.

Our Family hired them to landscape around deck. Incorrectly installed watering system then inadequate zones. Plants died and although replaced, would have died again due to insufficient water. When contacted, multiple excuses about lack of, and incompetent, employees.

I love this place! Everyone is so friendly and helpful especially Cristy! Sue turned me onto their Alpha 3 organic fertilizer. Wow! I have a Cactus that has never flowered and just 4 weeks loaded with blooms. Highly recommend them for all your outdoor needs!

Hate to say it, but you’ll likely be disappointed if you work with Alpha Nursery. You should see their customer service emails from Sue. We bought three trees, all died. They told us it was our fault and they wouldn’t plant new trees despite purchasing their warranty. Even if we did want new trees, they would charge us an extra $1000 to plant them. Money pit, some many other reputable companies out there to choose from.
