Great atmosphere, delicious pies and ice cream ran by the sweetest people. 💛 they have so many goodies of all kinds. Jewelry, jams/jellies, salsa. Everything is delicious. 10/10 recommend.
Just stopped in on our way back from the beach when we saw the homemade ice cream signs. Our kids had a blast eating ice cream and playing on the jump houses. The ice cream was so good we got 5 flavors and some pie. Dwayne was a pleasure to talk to and bathrooms were clean. Will be stopping back through next trip!
They are open! Their homemade ice cream was wonderful. The scoops were generous. We tried the watermelon and butter pecan flavors. We also bought some homemade blueberry jelly and pickled onions. Looking forward to trying those at home.
I recently visited this local you-pick strawberry farm with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. There were very few strawberries available to pick, and the ones we did find were quite small. On top of that, the watering system appeared to be broken, which left many areas extremely muddy and difficult to walk through. Inside, they had strawberry samples with a cream cheese dip that looked like it had been sitting out for a long time. There were no utensils provided for serving, which raised concerns about cleanliness. When my child went to try a sample, the cashier handed him a spoon. He used it to pick up a strawberry, ate it, and then tried to get a small amount of dip for his next bite. At that point, an older man—who seemed to be the owner—yelled at him in a harsh and embarrassing way, saying, “No, we don’t do that,” and accused him of double and triple dipping, which simply wasn’t true as I was watching the entire time. My child was visibly upset and embarrassed by how the situation was handled. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and unkind, especially toward a child. Looking back, I regret not leaving immediately instead of completing our purchase. Overall, between the poor conditions, lack of organization, and the way we were treated, this was not a positive experience. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
Stopped on our way to Birmingham and so glad we did! We got the apple pie fritter and butter pecan ice cream as well as some jams for the road. Everything was delicious!
