Big Branch Apiary, LLC - Lacombe LA

This was a terrific overnight rv hookup. The hosts were friendly, and it was peaceful and secluded. Lots of animals to watch, photograph and learn about: white peacocks, chickens and chicks, dogs, plus elevated beehives. Creative touches and an open air area to relax in with comfortable seating. We didn’t get to see everything since we were on a long cross country drive. I highly recommend this spot!

Rows and Rows of blueberry varieties, some sweet, some tart. A few other fruit trees break up the landscape. The walking path passes a small garden, chicken coop, and A-frame cabin. Children loved the experience.

We love this farm in Big Branch, La. Gloria, the Hinni is so sweet. We also enjoyed picking blueberries. BTW, the honey is delicious! I can't wait to go back. I'd love to buy some fresh eggs!

Needed local honey for 95yr young Mom. After finding online, we arrived at locked gate (unannounced). I called & Sherry was gracious enough to come unlock & take us to barn for some "Super Fresh" honey!! Just so happened she was at the barn from the field. I suggest you call ahead if needing honey off season. (only open during Blueberry season)...thx Sherry
