Boa Vista Orchards - Placerville CA

What a place! Fresh fruits and vegetables. Prices are reasonable and some grocery items are also available. Their donuts were fresh and delicious. Though it’s far from Sacramento but it’s worth to visit that natural area. Kids enjoy their ice cream and had fun riding train.

We decided to check out Boa Vista Orchards while we were in the area since it was less than a 10 minute drive away from where we were staying. While there, we tried a brisket sandwich sampling the BBQ sauces that were available as condiments and we had an apple donut each. I am not one for apples, but the donut was really good! (I had the caramel icing one and my husband had the chocolate icing one. We were both very pleased.) During our first visit we also purchased honey. Raw, local honey is extremely important to have daily if you struggle with sinus issues. It helps us tremendously! On our second visit, we had to get our food in again and also purchased the Sweet Bourbon BBQ sauce because it was so gosh darn good! It even tastes great on spinach and ricotta ravioli, wildly enough!

Brisket sandwich was amazing!! The cherry dumpling, lemonade and sangria were my favorites but the donuts were definitely delicious as well as their dessert wines!

APPLES APPLES & MORE APPLES! I love this place my favorite this time was the warm apple cidar,delicious!! They have such a great variety of fruit vegetables jams jelly popcorn and baked goods,they Apple turnover is a must!! Don't forget the fresh apple juice!! Wow everything so tasty,and you even get a discount when paying cash!! Also they are open 363days of the year!

A great place to get fresh produce at a good price. I got quality pumpkins as well and they have a lot of kitchen ingredients and baked goods. Parking is limited and it gets very busy on the weekends during September and October.
