Coffey Grounds Farm - Stilwell KS

My in laws recently hosted an event/dinner here to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Everything was incredible! I helped a little with their planning and got to experience the behind the scenes planning, as well as the actual event. Janet and her son, Garret, were accommodating with all our questions and met with us several times before the event. The grounds and space speak for themselves and are absolutely gorgeous. We had several out of town guests who were blown away by every detail. The food was …. SUPERB. The menu consisted of smoked brisket, sausage and chicken, cole slaw, potato salad and fixins. As a native Kansas citian I was quite suspicious of BBQ made by someone I don’t know- but holy cow! Q39 and Jack Stack need to watch out. Everything was Al that we asked for and more. Thank you Janet and staff! Special memories were made that will last for years to come!

We had the best dinner experience ever last night! We were greeted at the door by the owner, Janet Coffey! We enjoyed a 4 course meal in our own private stall of this amazing restored horse barn! The chef explained the menu to us and if we had any questions. I can say with genuine confidence and sincerity that we had the best time last night, with the most amazing food, spending time with our closest friends in laughter and conversation & will be back for a romantic experience in Feb 2024! It’s a very romantic setting on a few acres, there was a fire going in the outdoor fire pit and plenty of parking as well as cozy and warm inside the barn, and to top it all off, the wait staff were amazing and welcoming! I cannot wait for the next dinner at this wonderful place!

Highly recommend this venue for a private event! I hosted a meet the bride tea party on Saturday. Everything was amazing. The tablescape was so pretty, the food was amazing, and the service was top-tier. I am so happy I found this venue during a Google search in January.

What a gem! My first visit to Coffey Grounds Farm was for Teapot Tuesdays. I was greeted by the owner and welcomed in as if I were a longtime friend. I was the first of my party to arrive, so while I was waiting, she took me on a sweet little tour of the gardens. WOW! What an incredible place! Once my party arrived, we made our way into the barn and to a one of the cozy stalls. We sipped on one of the most delicious mimosas (served in a beautifully cut stemmed glass) while we were waiting for our tea to steep. The tea was absolutely delicious and was served in the most beautiful china. And the orange cranberry scones were the perfect accompaniment to it. Janet (the owner) made us feel so special. I can’t wait to return for the next Teapot Tuesday. I highly recommend visiting Coffey Grounds Farm for one of these special days. What a treat!

Chose this place for our wedding. Told them what we wanted and our budget and they went above and beyond for our wedding. Highly recommend this place for a small private events.
