Cute veggie and fruit stand. Workers are fery kids nd, evern when my 3 year old dropped and broke a watermelon. We got corn, cucumbers, tomatoes and peaches. They were super good!
This place had become a family tradition for us in fall! The whole days family is there to help! Whether you are looking for fresh produce you pick yourself or our personal favorite is the $5.00 hay ride and pick your own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch! They don't charge by weight like other parches just the 5 dollars is all you pay! They also have great photo op setups that look amazing at the golden hour. For a family fall photo you will remember for years to come. They have also provide ample parking and gender nutrual bathrooms so no need to worry about going before you come. The best time to come if it's on a weekend is early in the day because the closer to the golden hour it gets the mote you will be waiting in line for the hay ride. After you get your pumpkins make sure to check out the Halloween treats stand! They are devine!
We love the pumpkin patch and hay ride! We are so happy they figured out how to make this work this year. There were plenty of large pumpkins for the kids to choose from. My boys loved the hayride to the pumpkin patch. This is an amazing deal.
I had heard through the grape vine (or pumpkin vine, rather) that Day Farms had corn stalks and I wanted to get some for my Autumn front-porch decor. I think I ended up buying at least one of every kind of squash and pumpkin they had! The young people working there were so very helpful and nice! I also picked up some peaches, apples, cucumbers and tomatoes and made a healthy, and very delicious salad! So flavorful! I'll be visiting again!
The best and cheapest way to buy pumpkins for carving! This is where we come every year. It feels scary to fill a wagon full of huge pumpkins and think, how much does this weigh?? What is this going to cost me?? But I promise it will be less than you expect. We bought 7 BIG pumpkins today - 112 lbs total. And it was about $28. Try it. You'll come back every year too!
