Delaware Landscaping transformed my property to something beautiful. I had a lot of shrubs and trees that had overgrown and got wild. Jerry Taylor from Delaware Landscaping came out, gave me a proposal. Jerry's crew removed all the old stuff. The 1st picture is of how the rear of my property looked before. (Major job) Jerry did a design and totally transformed my property. Jerry is an easy guy to work with and his crew are hardworking and professional, even the office staff are great to deal with. Delaware Landscaping has done several other properties in my development and all of my neighbors seem as pleased with their work as I am. I don't think you can find a better company to use or nicer people to deal with.

Placed an order over the phone for 2.5 tons of 3-5" stones, received a pile of mini boulders that are not close to what we asked for. Called and spoke with one of the owners who said we'd need to call back the next day to speak with whatever employee we placed the order with. This makes no sense, if you're the owner and I'm telling you this is not what I ordered, why do I need to call back and speak with someone else? After they tried to convince me that this was what I ordered and there will always be some variation, I asked to replace what was here with smaller stones. Apparently the best they could do was offer a discount of the 1-3" stones and I would need to pay to have someone come pick up the 3-5" because of the equipment required. I eventually managed to get through to them, enough at least, to understand that when the bulk of what was dropped off was 2x the size of what was needed for the project, maybe they made a mistake. They asked me to send them pictures which I did. I received a call back and they offered to deliver a half ton of 1-3" stones for free which would arrive by 9:00a the next morning as I had a contractor coming out that day to start the work. Not what I wanted but I figured I'd see if we could make it work. Fast forward to 10:00a the next day, no delivery. I called and they said they had no delivery scheduled but would call me back. By this point, I had to call my contractor and cancel since work was to being at 11:00a. I received a call back at 11:18a, stating they could have the stones delivered in a few hours. It was at this point I informed them that I did not want the additional delivery and I would like a refund and for them to come pick up the stones. They said they have a no refund policy to which I asked where this was posted because it's not on their website, was not told to us over the phone and was not on any documentation we received. The answer, it's posted on the counter of their store.. After reminding them that this order was placed over the phone, they stood by their "policy" and told me that they don't control mother nature and I should have gone into the store to look at the rocks prior to ordering. What difference does this make? I ordered a specific size, you would assume that as a company, you would strive to provide the specified size or at least inform me, prior to purchase, of the massive variation. I understand there will be some variation but when the bulk is double the size, that's on the company. Are you telling me that if I ordered 1-3" rocks, I would have received mostly 6" or more? Terrible company, shameful owners, would not recommend.

Great group! First photo shows before and second is after. They completely removed all the crap, including trash, from the previous owner and left me a nice clean slate. I will be working with them as I continue to transform my yard. Excellent pricing. Only downside was booking, but that’s an industry-wide problem.

Our project is not yet complete, but I wanted to post a comment about the tremendous service we get from Delaware Landscaping. We started a few weeks back with a complete redo of the planting beds around the house. Gerardo and his crew removed all the old variety of materials from the beds, put down new fabric, and installed river jack all the way around the house. At he same time, they removed a tree we needed gone, moved several rose bushes and ground out 2 stumps. These guys wasted no time, arriving on time, and going full tilt each day. Anything we asked got the same response, "No problem. Happy to help." Now we are almost finished with the back yard, having sprayed the entire area to kill the existing grass (and weeds), upgrading the irrigation system, preparing to lay sod. Chip is on site to manage the entire process, and takes great pride in his work. Again, it is clear that his goal is to make my wife and me happy with the project, and proud of what we are having done. And it's working. There is no doubt in my mind that this newly improved irrigation is going to help us grow a lawn that will be the envy of the neighborhood.We are delighted and look forward to enjoying our backyard deck and pool area. Can not say enough good things about Chip, Gerardo, and everyone else we have met and worked with at Delmarva Landscaping. Thanks, guys!! Just needed to update with photos of the completed sod work. As I have come to expect, everything went exactly as Chip said it would, and we are delighted. Three weeks after install, our yard is looking better than ever. You can see it in the attached pics from June 5, and it continues to look even better.

Very disappointed in recent landscaping job by Delaware Landscaping. Stressed the fact to the efforts of minimizing weeds and weed guard application Delaware Landscaping assured that it would be handled. Only 3 months of spring/summer since installation and I’m gonna need a mower. I should have just planted grass, as there is enough dirt mixed with stone to grow a garden.
