We had the best experience at Dunneback Girls! Their food is always incredible and tastes homemade. The soup was some of the best soup I’ve ever had. There is an admission fee but it is worth every penny! There is so much for kids to do, you could spend an entire day playing and exploring. They have the best beer in Grand Rapids.. the Honeycrisp Ale is to die for!! Overall I couldn’t recommend the farm more if you’re looking for a women owned, family run local business that excels in all areas!
Ed Dunneback & Girls Farm is awesome! My wife & I have been here many times with friends & family and always have a great time! The entire staff and management do a great job. Always providing exceptional, friendly and attentive service. Their products are phenomenal! My favorites are their pies, hot asparagus and bakery goods. Don't get me wrong, their wines, ciders and beer selection is awesome too! The prices are reasonable as well. We love going for the live music as well, whether the bands are playing inside or on the outdoor stage, they get some of the best talent around! The atmosphere is always fun, welcoming and truly entertaining. They do a fantastic job organizing and making every event a memorable experience. Just a great venue managed by a great team. Keep up the great work, Looking forward to our next visit!
Lots of charm, but customer service misses the mark. Great concept, but poor execution when it comes to hospitality. I visited Ed Dunneback & Girls Farm with a friend and was excited because the place itself is beautiful. It’s more than just a farm—it’s a café, cider & IPA and full of photo opportunities. On the surface, it feels like a fun spot to spend the day. Unfortunately, the customer service really fell short. The staff seemed very young and inexperienced, and it showed in the way the crowd was handled. With a line of people waiting, there was no sense of urgency, professionalism, or attention to the guest experience. For the amount of money we spent, it was disappointing to feel like customer care wasn’t a priority. This place has a lot of potential, but unless management invests in better training and more mature service, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone expecting good hospitality to match the atmosphere.
We visited at the start of the day for strawberry picking. It was a little confusing at first because they were still getting set up, but once everything was running, the experience was wonderful. Parking is available across the street near the strawberry fields. You do need to reserve a time slot in advance, and attendance is limited. This made the experience especially enjoyable because it wasn't crowded and everyone had plenty of space to pick. The staff were friendly and organized, and we were assigned our own row. Our row had a few missing plants, but we were given permission to pick from the row next to us as well. Overall, it was a great experience. My husband and toddler both loved the strawberries and said they were very sweet. Thank you for providing such a fun family activity!
This place was awesome too bring my little one. My son loved playing on all the tires, swings, slide and jump pad. We even all enjoyed going through both corn mazes. And the pumpkin smash was awesome to watch.
