We were looking for (3) large potted plants for our entry way to our home, and I was lucky enough to run into Sunshine as soon as I walked into the store. Told her I know nothing and need ALL her assistance and ideas for this little project. She was so informative and made it easy for an idiot like me to understand. Just a wonderful soul! Having been to For Garden Sake now at least a handful of times, they are never not on their game. Love that we live so close to this place because it’s really the best nursery we’ve been to in Durham. Thank you, Sunshine and For Garden Sake!
Beautiful spot, they have everything! I love getting my house plants from here and walking around to see all they have to offer. Fall decor is beautiful and they even have little activities for the kids with trick or treat stations and I believe I saw a scavenger hunt.
Such a beautiful nursery! It’s a great place for families — there are cute animals, swings, and slides, and the decorations are perfect for photos. The staff are super nice! Today on Halloween, Ms. Tressa gave my daughter some hay to feed the little goats and the donkey, and she even gave us a fresh egg at the end! We’ll treasure it forever! 🐐🥚🎃
First time visiting as I’ve recently begun my collection of indoor plants. The employees were friendly as far as the ones I spoke with, and Naomi (hope I spelled it right) was the person who guided through the process and offer some recommendations. Very helpful and knowledgeable. She also allowed me to capture some photos of the beautiful plants that I could add to my review. The animals were cool to see as well. Definitely plan to visit again for my gardening needs!
We’ve been here a ton and love it. There are plants, a small petting zoo, a quaint little lake, a park, and nice pumpkins in the fall. Now there’s a cool little outdoor seating area where you can get a snack and a drink on the weekends. It’s very cute and family friendly. If you only go for the plants, their prices are pretty much the same as Home Depot. And they’re happy plants- I don’t have much of a green thumb, and the ones we have are all staying alive and healthy. ☺️
