Frank's Perennial Border & Southern Soother - Winston-Salem NC

We stopped here on April 1st to check out this nursery. They had a nice selection of plants and mulch/soil. As we walked around looking at the plants, we were very happy to see so many NC native plants! While we were walking around deciding what we wanted to get, Adam (owner/staff) asked if we needed any help. He was very welcoming and very helpful!! We asked him so many questions about what kind of plants to get and how to care for them. We purchased 5 plants and mulch and dirt. He did get me with an April Fool's joke! Lol! He also mentioned that in a couple of weeks that he will have more plants. If you are looking for plants. I highly recommend Frank's Perennial!

I just want to share my experience with Franks. I live in Murphy, NC, thats about 5 hours from Winston-Salem. I drove out because they had such a huge selection of perennial NC Natives. I called and was able to place my order over the phone, they checked to ensure that all the roots were healthy before my pickup date. I was surprised by the sizes and overall health of the plants at pick up. They were so luscious and green with new growth and the salesman was very helpful giving recommendations on how to get it all home. 10/10 I will shop here again!

What a great place! I wanted perennials that grow well in the shade ( most of my yard) and this is the 1st place found with such a great selection. I've already bought over 20 plants here and highly recommend it. The plants all look very healthy and they provide good descriptions and prices.

My first visit to Franks was just a shot in the dark. A lucky one too! Great staff, great prices, great looking & very healthy plants. My only regret was I didn’t gave a bigger budget.

Great plants!! Lots of native plants, well marked. Found a Carolina Spicebush I could not find anywhere!!
