We are very pleased with our landscaping project. It has made our house look so much better and will help us keep up with maintenance. We had the whole front area redone. The landscaping had not been updated for many years. We started with Megan and she completed a design that helped us so much. The design helped us visualize what it would look like and a complete detail list with the cost per item. Unfortunately the first design did not fit in our budget but Megan worked with to prioritize and revise to a design that we liked and could afford. The design cost $250 but you get to apply that to the project cost. It was well worth it. The crew that came to do all the work also used it as reference. The crew was amazing. Alex and his crew came everyday until the project was completed (except weekends). They would arrive early in the morning and worked all day. He would check in with us to make sure we were happy with his work. They completed the project quickly and efficiently. We highly recommend Megan and her crew at Garden Center if Las Cruces.
I stopped by to buy some gravel and plants and had a really good experience. Meagan was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She helped me find exactly what I needed and made the whole process quick and easy. Even though I was just there for gravel and plants, she still took the time to answer my questions and made sure I was taken care of. Great customer service and a very positive experience overall. I would definitely come back again.
Stay away and look for another company. Never give them money upfront. They don’t respond to any communication, they lie their way out, and once they get the money the owner would disappear . You will be lucky if they can finish in 2-3 years
It was incredible watching these men work. They are efficient and hard working. Meagan is a great asset to Garden Center! She keeps everything working and organized. We were very happy with our new landscape and will enjoy it always!! Thank you Meagan!!
A few things that may be of interest before hiring this company: The good: Design and consultation period was great. The final product looks fine. Things to note: 1. Document, document, document: a. Whatever is orally discussed and is important must be put in writing. Else you will find yourself asking after things already discussed but not done b. Take before, during and after pictures of the work being done for evidence. You may need to compare that to what is actually in the contract. c. Poor clean up post-project: Make sure there is an understanding and that it is indeed done that the work area will be left cleaned up/in its original condition. The site before pictures and writing included as evidence before work starts will help. I am still waiting for the company to get back to me about cleaning up whatever material they left at this job site. 2. Make sure to read and read again what the contract work will and will not entail. Pay attention to what costs may arise that were not in the contract and/or work promised to be done but either not done, or done shoddily. 3. Project updates: Keep a close eye on work progress and document any ensuing correspondence with the company. 4. Poor communication: Requesting responses from the company is an uphill task. You will have to chase after them time and time again, which is quite frustrating. They do not get back to you in a timely manner or if they do, it is not about what you asked, or by that time, more issues will have come up that will not be addressed. 5. Absenteeism: Manager and/or foreman not always at hand for questions. Due to this, you turn to the work crew for updates but communication is poor due to language barrier, again another frustrating trait. The bad: Would not recommend this company.
