Green Things - Tucson AZ

Absolutely BEAUTFIUL… I am a huge plant guy, checked it a few nurseries and only had experience at places like Home Depot in the area (which does not compare). I knew green things was around, but this was back when I volunteered at TRAK, and it was much smaller. I just decided to stop by, and I was absolutely floored. The outside nursery is really cool, but my favorite was the house plants section (pictured below, which is only a small fraction of what’s there). Anyway, it was one of the most beautiful places ever, definitely the best nursery I’ve been to, and I will absolutely be coming back again for some plants for my new place this Fall when I’m back for the semester. Prices were GREAT too which I was surprised by, and there are so many options..including carnivorous plants. Fun place to just to admire too.

Green Things was great! After a disappointing experience elsewhere earlier in the day, it was refreshing to come here. The atmosphere was vibrant and the selection of plants, trees, pots, and décor was huge. Multiple employees checked in to see if we needed help, which immediately made the place feel welcoming. Jade helped us find Sweet Orange and Mexican Lime trees. When I first asked for help she mentioned she needed to finish a quick task, but she checked back in with us while we were browsing and let us know she was almost done. She wrapped up quickly and then spent time helping us find the three citrus trees we were looking for. She was patient, attentive, and very helpful, and she also helped us get the paperwork and information we needed for planting, staking, and soil. Terrific experience overall. Looking forward to coming back soon to pick up some of the beautiful pots we saw.

Costumer service and their variety of plants and plant care products is amazing! They’re pet friendly and they have a beautiful view of the mountains, definitely worth to check if you like plants.

Not only do they have great prices and great selection, they have great staff too. I believe the gal in the blue green shirt was named Aura. I came up to her with a bunch of photos of random plants and she was able to help me find almost everyone one of them! Much better than Google haha. So if you need a knowledgeable staff to help you find stuff, I'd recommend stopping by.

The plants are great, but the people are even better! I struggle with keeping plants alive 😅 and finding the right pots for them... I got to green things and told Vanessa this. She said to pick out a pot and she would show me how to plant the indoor plant I wanted to set me up for success. I went to pick a pot and Art was SO helpful out in the heat. Once we were finished and checking out, Nicholas helped us load everything in. It was seamless from start to finish with all of their help. And I love my new plant!
