Green Valley Farms Nursery & Sod - Three Way TN

My husband and I found some beautiful plants for our back yard. I really love shopping at nurseries and this is a good one. We found some calla lillies probably won't come back because they are zone 9-10. I wasn't thinking oh well I still love them. The coleus they are annuals but beautiful.

Don’t expect your “Cut to order” sod to be on a timely schedule. Mine showed up two days early. I adjusted my schedule to accommodate the early notice. They then sold my order and made me wait until a day later than I had originally requested before anymore would be in. When I tried to explain how inconvenient that was for a small business owner, I was immediately cut off with “it’ll be here at 8am Friday” repetitively until I finally just hung up the phone in rage. It was an older gentleman that runs the place that I spoke to.

Acted as if I wasn't going to purchase the sod I ordered by calling multiple times to make sure I would be there to pay for it. After I pay for my sod.. the forklift operator that has been there loading sod for a very long time somehow manages to knock over not one but two pallets of sod. Which makes the sod very difficult to work with. When I say something about this, I was giving a funny look and a slight grin without an apology or any offer to make it right. Very unfriendly and I felt very ostracized by not only the employee but also who seemed to be the owner who could be a bit more humble. I wish I would have taken a picture of the mess they dumped on my trailer. SMH. I guess I'll just know next time not to pay until it's loaded correctly..

Nelson and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The prices and quality are much better than anywhere in Jackson. Well worth the drive.
