If I could give this place 6 stars I would. It is by far the most family friendly winery I have ever been to. Our boys (3 and 5) had hours of fun while we as parents got to enjoy some wine. We stopped for some lunch and it was delicious. I highly suggest the roasted corn- so sweet and crisp. We loved that the wine bottles were twist offs so we could enjoy while walking around with our boys. Honestly, I would suggest this farm/vineyard to anyone with little kids. There is so much to do!!

We had lots of fun picking apples and pumpkins at Harbes Farm. Our grown kids had fun feeding the animals. Entrance fee includes a bag to fill up with apples. They only have honey crisp apples and they were delicious. It’s already little late in the season to see sunflower but spotted some sunflowers. We bought lots of pumpkins, corn stalks and autumn decorations.

Came in today (Monday) and Colleen made us feel right at home in the wine barn. We had 2 tasting and some snacks and had the best afternoon! We can’t wait to come back and visit her! The wines were delicious and her knowledge of each one was so insightful!

So this was a very interesting experience. Just left this farm with my family. Wife, myself, and two young boys. My older son (8) was playing with a group of three other kids when the four of them decided that they wanted to go on the bounce pad. Cool good plan. So we get to the bounce pad, and the pitiful gentleman “working” the bounce pad told my son (ever so arrogantly) that he couldn’t jump on the pad with the other kids because he was too tall (by an inch). Mind you; I understand there are rules. But what gets me angry is this; one of the children my son was playing with was a solid two inches taller than my son. Why not deny him entry as well? I mean, if rules are rules then that would be sensible, right? The only real difference I could see between those boys and my son; was that my son’s skin is a few shades darker being mixed. And I feel like that old white man (I’m white too) just wanted to disappoint my kid. So my son was humiliated, and told he couldn’t bounce with his friends and to go on the other bounce pad alone…. How does that make an 8 year old feel? Beautiful place. Amazing atmosphere; but I will NEVER be back here and I will encourage my MANY friends to attend other farms in the area. Absolutely pitiful and disgusting. I will never spend another dollar here.

It’s a huge farm with a lot of activities. If you are looking forward for a nice family day then this could be on the recommendation list. There are a lot of fun stuff for kids. The animals over here were pretty nice and healthy. Feeding the goats was one of the good experiences. Also there are two huge trampolines for kids. And guess what? The adults can also enjoy their time on the trampoline. The ‘Singing Hayride’ is also one of the mentionable activities, but you can enjoy the ride to the fullest during spring or harvest season. The farm offers fresh made juice and ice creams. Depending on the availability. We took the watermelon and peach mixed ice cream and it tasted really fresh and amazing.
