Hicks Orchard - Granville NY

One of our absolute favorite spots! Family and dog friendly, perfect for a date too! We picked cherries, blueberries, and raspberries, enjoyed hot fresh apple cider donuts, and tried several hard ciders. Pictured is the House Ice Cider and I tried the black current. Great experience, we enjoyed the hayride, highly recommend, my son loved petting the animals, and riding the horse. The donuts were delicious. The best part was our hayride the guys made the ride enjoyable with fun facts and history of the orchard, very friendly.

Our go to orchard for all picking. We used to Apple pick here every fall, and now we visit in the summer, too, for picking raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries. It’s such a family friendly place, we feel really safe visiting with our baby and toddler because there is room for them to run around and games to play. The big beautiful porch and picnic tables are so comfortable, we always grab some cider donuts and local snacks to enjoy outside under the umbrellas. Our toddler also LOVES feeding the goats. The cidery and grown up drinks don’t hurt, either!

First off I’m gonna say this is the best apple orchard I’ve ever been to in a very long time. This place is like a hidden gem absolutely good apples to the donuts to the cider into the hard cider was absolutely so good even there wood fire pizza that they had was so good. My family really enjoyed it definitely coming back next year was so worth the hour drive.

Hicks has been my favorite local orchard since I was a kid 35 years ago. I no longer go into the orchard to pick apples, but the experience is still awesome. Delicious cider donuts, wood fired pizza, and ice cream to eat. Sooo many apple varieties to choose from for sale in the store. And goats! Who doesn't love feeding goats? Highly recommend spending a day here in the fall.
