We absolutely loved Indian orchards farms, It was a rainy day so we did not go to the orchard however the store and the young ladies that helped us were amazing. We got some different types of apple and crimson crisp was for sure our favorite! I'd never had such an amazing apple. We took a lot of pictures, the barn was cool, the whole place was decorated so adorably for Halloween and pumpkin season. Would love to come back again to actually go picking. We drove around the grounds a little bit and it was absolutely beautiful.
I was skeptical after reading reviews, but we decided to check out this place anyway and we absolutely loved it!! The employees were great, the young girl working the cash register was so cute and sweet, I thought the fruit and entrance fee was all fairly priced for organic, fresh, homegrown fruit! We did pick your own apples and had a blast. There are other spots at the farm where you can hang out on a patio, or go for a little walk. I highly recommend & ignore all the bad reviews from people who can never be pleased!
We live about five minutes away but never came here until the other day, it is a cute place! There are a lot of apple trees (and lots of apples all over so be careful not to roll an ankle, it wouldn’t be easy for an older person or person with mobility issues to walk around this place in general). It definitely feels like a small mom and pop place, and their apple cider was delicious! Two things that could be better- the apple trees are not marked well at all- very few had signs identifying what there were- apparently they have like 30 varieties but we could only find a sign for maybe 5 different kinds and didn’t know what to pick, so it became pretty frustrating and aggravating after a bit and we just gave up. Also, there are no prices anywhere! No signs telling you how much the pick your own is (you can also pick other things like vegetables though it was limited) no prices on any of the pumpkins or anything in the farm store, not even prices on the apple cider. I really did not like that at all. And then I paid $3 for a homemade brownie that the girl said was $2 and it tasted like a box mix brownie. So those two things were really annoying and this isn’t a place to travel far to, but if you are in the area it’s a nice little place to pick some apples. Oh and there is a fee of $3.50 per person during the week, it’s much more expensive on the weekend, $11 I think and not worth it- this is in addition to what you pick.
My friends & I went to Indian Orchards for the first time today and we truly had so much fun! Gail was the sweetest, and she really made our experience a million times better. All the fruits and veggies taste amazing, & the cats were cute too! I love that this is an all natural orchard, where they don’t spray any weed killer or pesticides. Makes me feel so much safer! 5/5, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We wish we could have spend more time there.
This is the second summer I've been to Indian Orchard farm. We went blueberry picking but ended up picking peaches, blackberries, onions, squash and cucumbers. The farm has so many kinds of produce to pick it's amazing. The prices for pesticide free, organic produce is great. I'll definitely be back in the fall to pick apples and pumpkins. The grounds are very well kept and beautiful. Theres also a store where you can buy picked produce from the farm as well as honey, some flavored ciders and jams.
