La Cueva Raspberry Farm - Mora NM

This Sunday we went to the raspberry farm in “Mora” and got some delicious treats! We go at least once around this time of the year and are never disappointed! The cafe has local favorites and sandwiches, raspberry sun tea, raspberry slushees, as well as raspberry ice cream that you can get several ways. Our favorite is the raspberry sundae, half vanilla half raspberry, topped with their homemade raspberry topping. Their brisket is a delicious addition to the menu and pairs nicely with their simple yet delicious vinegar style coleslaw. If you walk across the street you can visit the store where you can purchase different kinds of raspberry and local treats. We never leave without some of their raspberry jam. If you stop at the right time of the year, usually late summer/early fall you can pick your own raspberries to take home.

The Mills BBQ Cafe has amazing vegan friendly treats and an even more amazing staff! The young man serving the ice creams, the lady cooks working their tails off and the front cashier were all polite and respectful. The food was delicious and my whole family had a blast picking raspberries! Just take a bottled water on those hot days in the fields!

Great family experience! Kids get to pick and eat as many raspberries as they can fit in their tummies! Gorgeous part of the state. For a slice of heaven with vanilla ice-cream and raspberry syrup on top, add it to your list of must see places!!!!! Great raspberries, totally worth a visit to pick the fruit. Our kids ate their fair share while the rest of us filled up our containers. They also have a clean restaurant with some great ice cream and a shop that has a large selection of items.

We waited in line for an hour-and-a-half got to the window they were out of the raspberry ice cream sundae and all other deserts. Then we had this waiting around to the back and wait for food and drinks where we got Ice Tea with no ice and a mixed up order.
