The staff were very helpful and super nice. I got there literally 5 minutes before closing time and i still got served with a smile on their faces. I thought they closed at 6 but apparently they close at 5 now. I purchase a big plant and they helped us carry that to the car. The place is BEAUTIFUL, you can see that the plants are taken care of & the staff warmth makes all the difference. After all, plants thrive on good energy just like we do.

My entire adult life I dreamed of owning a magnolia, but because they are so expensive, I never bought one. This year after receiving my tax return, I asked myself, "what are you waiting for". It's go time. I purchased a beautiful tree on March 7 and on March 10, my landscaper planted it in the garden. By March 30th the tree lost its leaves from the bottom up and by April 11th a DNR order was issued. I did everything by the book to keep it alive. Finally I had to admit it had passed on to where all good trees go. I took my receipt, and album of pictures, from planting to death, along with the tree tag to the Special Services Desk. I expected the worse. What I received came as a total surprise. Patuxent honored their warranty, without excuse or push back. I wish I had gotten the parties names to post them in this review. They educated me, rather than make excuses and judge me. I was directed to go into the yard and to select another tree of my choosing. Needless to say, I selected another Southern Magnolia. It's beautiful. Tall and straight in the middle. Waxy leaves on one side coppery suede textured on the other. I am over the moon happy. Lovely people...a warranty that means something. They have a dedicated customer for life!!! Did I forget to mention this tree cost almost $500.00? Thank you Patuxent Nursery for you quality service. I will sing your praises wherever I go!

Garden goods direct and this nursery. These are coral bells 1 gallon they were shipped on time and grew fast really beautiful especially this Carmel color one with red underneath that was a surprise. These are perfect for my area Texas. I will definely order more from here thanks

Excellent customer service! I’ve had great success from plants I purchased here over the years. I have thriving bushes, trees, vegetables, flowers, etc.. from Patuxent Nursery. What prompted my review today: I called the nursery to see if they had a particular plant in stock. No one answered- it is a busy Saturday. I did not leave a message, but Chris called me back just based on one missed call!!! I’m sure they can’t do this with every missed call, but it felt great to be valued as a customer. One of the many reasons I love supporting my neighbors nursery.

I’ve been looking for a Cherokee Brave Dogwood to plant next to my Cherokee Princess for quite some time. I drove over two hours hoping for the best and was thrilled to find a great selection and a friendly staff and a beautiful garden center. The tree was quite large and one of the employees properly tied it up and got it in my vehicle. I talked to multiple employees while there and found them knowledgeable and friendly. A+.
