Penland's Apples - Ellijay GA

Another awesome Apple orchard in Ellijay, Georgia. ‘Penland’s Orchards & Farm Market’ has been around since 1936. Enjoyed my shopping excursion and picked up some fresh cut flowers, too. There are so many amazing Apple orchards in North Georgia. Grateful I had an opportunity to visit Penland’s and will definitely circle back. Great place to stop and shop for apples of all varieties. There are plenty of other products to choose from and I promise that your sweet tooth will find happeness here.

The experience was nice. I tasted different types of slushes. They had apple chips, hot boiled peanuts, fresh strawberries, apples, and peaches. They had all sorts of jams, ciders, and salsa.

John and his sweet family are the salt of the earth and have the best products in his store that you’ll find anywhere!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

We have gone to their store approximately 3 years now. All the apples are clearly labeled and easy to take from their shelves.They even have samples that are covered and with a toothpick you can try any of them. My husband loves the apple fritters and this year they tucked in a couple of fried pies! My favorite are the old fashioned winesap apple. I think they are also called Stayman winesap, too! It was very busy as every family in Georgia wanted to stop here at the exact same time we did! There is even a little area to pick zinnia flowers! Will definitely be back next year!
