Absolutely the WORST experience I’ve ever had. Not even worth one star. I came here full of excitement, arriving 15 minutes early and waiting patiently outside. I greeted the woman with a smile and a cheerful “Hi!” and told her it was my first time visiting. I also mentioned that I planned to buy a lot of fruit — several boxes — to gift to friends and family, since I had driven hours just to get there. I was genuinely looking forward to this. But what happened next was unbelievable. She gave me a quick explanation of the picking rules (only pick fruit from trees marked with paper). I followed the rules, quickly filled a bag, and returned with a simple question: “What should I do if one of the peaches is already damaged or rotten?” I wasn’t complaining. I wasn’t avoiding payment. I was just asking, politely. Without warning, she snatched the peaches out of my hands and threw them into the trash, while saying, “You dropped them. It’s your problem.” I tried to explain that one was already damaged when I picked it, and the other one had just fallen — but she didn’t care. A nearby man coldly said, “If you pick it, you pay for it.” That was the moment everything changed. Her rude, cold, and aggressive attitude completely crushed all my excitement. I hadn’t even started properly picking — and yet I no longer wanted to buy anything. She made me feel unwelcome, embarrassed, and even ashamed — for doing nothing wrong. How can you treat customers like this? Especially someone who showed up early, was honest, and planned to make a big purchase? This woman’s awful attitude completely destroyed my shopping mood. I didn’t even want to look at another fruit after that. I threw the bag in the car and drove away in total disappointment and frustration. You’re not just selling peaches — you’re selling an experience. And this? This was a disaster. Terrible attitude. No respect. No care. No hospitality. NEVER coming back. EVER.

I have always had a great experience at Ray French Orchard. I grew up in this area. Their produce is really flavorful. It is not hard to get around the property and they are very helpful.

Went to Ray's for some sunflowers $5 for 5, they are HUGE. You can pick your own or get some already picked. Also got 2lbs of donut peaches that were already picked. Peaches are sweet + yummy

We had a great time picking peaches 🍑 at Ray French Orchard. They're great for canning. We made jars of slices pureed/nectar peaches. All taste great. 😋

Excellent place to get cherrie, apples, nectarines, peaches and excellent Purslane (verdolagas). The owners are friendly people.
