Great place for cherry u-pick. Check their Facebook for the latest updates. As of July 3rd '25 at the Root Rd location, they are picking Rainiers/Lapins (separate entrance), and Montmorency, Bings, and Sonatas at the other entrance. Cherries this year are beautiful and plentiful. The Bings have a wonderful snap to them. We picked a basket full of the montmorency pie cherries for pies and preservations. After that, we drove back to the Rainier entrance to pick some of them. The Rainiers were so big and sweet. Signs will direct you to the right entrance as you approach Roots Rd. 2.50 a lb. The attendants are all so friendly and informative.

We picked Rainier cherries today and went home with a couple of bucket-loads. $2.50 per pound, which is much less expensive than from the grocery store! To get to the farm, there are dirt and gravel roads. Pass all of the rusty farm equipment parked along the way and you'll find the cherry orchard.

What a wonderful pick-your-fruit orchard! It was HOT when we went, but the young ladies running the stand were so sweet and friendly. You pick your own fruit and then they weigh it at the end. (They should weigh patrons before and after, too, because we “tasted” a lot of fruit! Lol.) The cherries we picked were delicious and made for amazing snacks and dessert for the next few days. The PEACHES were amazing! They sold those at the stand, so no picking those. When we got them back to our room, they were soooo good. Juicy as all get out and everything from the feel, texture, scent, and taste was peachy perfection! It was a great way to spend an hour or so, meandering the orchard, picking the cherries, and enjoying the views. 11/10 would recommend!

U-pick cherry available here with lovely and friendly owner. There are many kinds of cherry to pick(bings, samba, rainier and others) with the good vibes and clean restrooms. The price is so reasonable 2.25$/lb. Dont miss to come here.
