Salsbery Garden Center - Kokomo IN

I asked if they have elderberry or currants. The lady said they don't have berry or nut plants. That's ok but she went on to tell me elderberry is just ornamental and doesn't do well in our soil at all...... You would think they would know a little more about plants. The common elderberry in indiana is native and does amazing. Plus the berries has health benefits and taste delicious. Will not be going back

Everyone was very kind. I had my two daughters with me, 6 & 3, they were kind and talked with them. They educated us on the flowers we had picked out, how to care for them and gave planting advice. I didn't even realize but they were closing up and I never felt rushed or like we were an inconvenience. It was a great experience. The flowers were beautiful and the selection was great.

I have family in Kokomo and Russiaville, have been coming to IN for 30 years and have only stopped in the garden center a couple of times. Had a little time last weekend and stopped to walk around, stretch my legs, see what is new. It is a little early for annuals, but it's always fun to look at the decorations, yard art, and see what is fun & interesting. I think their staff are some of the nicest and most helpful and even though their prices are a little higher than most places, they have very good quality products. Family have commented their plants and flowers last a long time and get watered and fertilized regularly. I like to shop local and support small businesses. The selection of decorations , ribbon, wreaths, bird baths, year art, as well as plants, trees, shrubs is a fun mix. I can't wait to stop in April to see what else they add!

Very helpful ladies with recommendations and answering my many questions. They went above and beyond during our visit. It was fun too!

The staff was so nice and friendly they helped out so much. If you've never heard of this place I highly suggest you give them a look. They have sales all the time ask for Christy she was so nice
