Shively Farms - Berryton KS

This little farm located on the east side of Topeka has nice things going on throughout the year, and today it was a visit to their sunflower field. I don't live in Topeka but my sister does so we met up there. We were there shortly after 8:00 a.m. and had the field to ourselves. It's just such a nice little exposure to nature and the sunflowers even on an overcast day are so cheery and beautiful!

The cutest little farm and pumpkin patch! We went there with three kiddos, ranging from 11 months to 7 years old and they all had a blast. We had a great time running around, there was so much space and it wasn’t overcrowded for a Saturday night. The prices felt super reasonable and overall everything was super cute and kid friendly.

If you are on the hunt for a delightful family outing, look no further than Shively Farms! Shively Farms is truly a hidden gem for families looking for a fun day out! My family and I recently visited, and we were thoroughly impressed with the variety of activities they offer. The corn maze was a fantastic challenge—perfect for both kids and adults. After conquering the maze, we headed over to the pumpkin patch, which was a highlight for us. There were so many pumpkins to choose from, ranging in size and shape, making it easy to find the perfect one to carve later. Our kids had a blast with the zip line, tractor slides, and swings. We also tried out hand at a kid-friendly version of axe throwing (made out of plastic), which was surprisingly addictive and a lot of fun for all ages. There were plenty of stunning backdrops and props scattered around the farm to provided ample opportunities for beautiful photos. Whether you are looking for a day of adventure or a peaceful time with family, Shively Farms has it all. I highly recommend visiting this hidden haven for a fantastic fall family outing! We can't wait to return next season!

We’ve brought the whole family out several years in a row now and we’ve gotten to the point where we visit multiple times a year. The patch keeps getting bigger and bigger every year and more and more activities are added. By far, our favorite pumpkin patch that we’ve ever been to, and such a great value!

Absolutely an amazing place to visit year round! They have sunflowers, they do corn, and pumpkins! Jay and his family are wonderful people and we return every year! My sister and I always try to get the biggest pumpkin they have!
