South Barlow Berries LLC - Canby OR

We had such a wonderful experience at South Barlow Berry Farm 🍓 It was a perfect outing for both adults and kids — fun, relaxed, and full of joy. The berries were incredibly sweet, juicy, and clearly grown with care by a loving family-run farm. The prices were also excellent, which made it even more enjoyable. We picked fresh strawberries to eat right away, and also bought pre-picked berries to make homemade jam. Overall, it was a beautiful experience — simple, genuine, and full of summer flavor. We will definitely be coming back again! 🌿🍓

This was my first time berry picking, and I will be back many times this season!! The family was SO nice! There are SO many berries, and they're delicious!! I tend to shy away from farms that charge entry fees, so this was a HUGE plus!! Good job, South Barlow! Bring your own buckets/baskets, etc., check in so they can get a weight on your picking equipment (so you're not charged for the weight of your buckets), wash your hands, and head out to the field!! We collected 6.5 lbs. in about 10 minutes (3 people picking)! The fresh squeezed lemonade is AMAZING!!! I don't drink lemonade often, but after trying my husband's, my daughter and I BOTH got one!! So good! They sell fresh jam, cookies, and sticky buns!! Definitely go!! They're great!

Honestly, we had a wonderful experience apart from a minor incident that occurred which is why I decided to remove 1 star. Overall, the people and environment were great and very helpful. However, near the end of our picking session, we got yelled at by whom I assume is the owner… he told us we were not supposed to be picking in that area and he proceeds to yell if we didn’t see that the berries were still green (there was no signs and no one said anything). Even though many other people were picking in the area as well, and there was plentiful of nice berries. As we were going to pay I apologized to the young lady in the front and she also did not know we weren’t supposed to pick there. I suggest asking where it’s appropriate to pick before heading out:)

This jam is delicious. I didn’t know what a Tayberry was until I saw this booth at the Long Beach Farmers Market. They didn’t have a small size for my carryon bag but they brought it to the next Farmers Market the next day. That’s customer service!

Plentiful raspberry picking on 6/25. $3.50 per pound, well worth the money for a fun family activity. Don't forget they are closed on Sundays. I love supporting this business!
