It was fun. It was hot, but fun we tried to come here every year if they were open definitely worth it to come pick your own strawberries is quite different experience. You could have. definitely worth it, definitely recommended.

Strawberry pick up was an awesome experience. We all enjoyed a lot. There was so many people in fields to pickup the fruits. They closed for few minutes because it was full of people. $0.75 was a reasonable rate. Must visit.

Awesome place to pick strawberries. Can't beat the prices!!! Only .50 cent per quart and giant strawberry onions for 1 dollar! Here is some advice, bring wipes for your hands, do not wear open toed shoes or your feet will be filthy, do not wear any clothes that you love as they will probably get stained (especially the kiddos), bring some drinks (they also sell bottled water and the proceeds go to the kids football league), if you have back pain take an ibuprofen ( it's a lot of bending over), and bring shallow boxes or containers to put the strawberries in. We usually take a large, shallow box into the field and dump the quarts into it so you dont have to keep walking back to your car. Just remember to keep count of how many quarts, it's on the honor system. Oh, if you are allergic to bees remember your epipen!!! When you get home wash the berries, cut the tops off, and bag them in storage bags. Freeze some as they will spoil quickly because they are picked ripe. We put the frozen berries in the blender with yogurt and bananas and drizzle with honey for a great smoothie!!! You will not be disappointed if you visit here!!!

Had an amazing time picking strawberries at spivey farms. Only .75 for a quart is so much cheaper than the norm and they have so many acres to pick thru. Only took us 30 minutes to fill 4 quarts. If you want a fun time and to do something meaningful with kids and make memories than strawberry picking at spivey farm is the way to go. We took my girlfriends mom there and she had an amazing time. It was the first time in 30 years I did any picking of fruit.
