STEFFEN ORCHARDS - Fort Atkinson WI

Picked blueberries at a different farm last week and wanted to try another one out. This place is a STEAL. $5/lb, great staff, spacious rows with tons of blueberries so you don’t feel like you’re on top of somebody else. A little over $20 for 4 1/2 lbs more than triple what i got at the last farm for the same price, all under an hour.

The staff was extremely helpful and respectful. I have no issues with them at all, very pleasant. I ordered a 30 lbs box of frozen blueberries. I picked them July 6th. I was excited to get home and start boxing them up. I opened the box and very surprised. Berries were very dirty, very small (about the size of two peas) with a lot of frost and ice on them. I have been doing blueberries for a long time now and have never seen them like this before. I picked my own and bought from different vendors and have always been satisfied. I believe that these berries are from the very of last year crop.

Beautiful cherry orchard, wonderful owners. We just went to their pre-holiday sale and got frozen, pitted cherries and frozen cherry juice. Delicious!

Hesitant to write this as the staff is great, and seems like a family run place. However, just got home with a bucket full of cherries and they were crawling with worms. I don’t mean a few- hundreds. Tried rewashing several times, but they kept crawling out of the cherries. Had to throw everything away. Hopefully they can address this for next years crop
