Stonehedge Ldscpg And Garden Center - Newington CT

We live about half an hour away from Newington, and there are closer garden centers, but I'll go out of my way to visit them at least once a year. They always have some interesting plants, and their staff is always wonderfully helpful. Got some beautiful San Marzano plants the other day!

Great place for flowers, bushes, and trees. While they can be a bit expensive, the plants a great. The people are incredibly passionate and helpful too. They offer delivery and installation too (if you need it). Check them out if you need plants this season!

This nursery carries great products, which is why I’ve returned several times over the past 10 years. Unfortunately, the customer service has been consistently disappointing. I tend to shop here, have a frustrating experience, stay away for a while, and then come back hoping things have improved—but that hasn’t been the case. In general, staff interactions feel unwelcoming. When I’ve asked questions, I’ve often felt like I was inconveniencing them rather than being helped. Most recently, I purchased bagged mulch and was told to pull up and someone would assist with loading. After waiting for a while with no help, my 9-year-old son and I ended up loading the heavy bags ourselves. Staff could see us from inside, but no one came out to assist. I truly wish the service matched the quality of the products, but based on repeated experiences, I can’t justify more than one star.

This place is the by far BEST garden center ive been to in my life. The items they sell is perfect even for people who don't garden. They sell everything between potted plants to cannabis-scented candles!! No review can truly state how GREAT this place is! Would return again!

I went over today on a hunt for a good plant that could fit into this nice odd wooden pot i received as a gift, and ended up with this wonderful ZZ and it looks great! Service was wonderful, I was given space to browse to find the perfect plant among their selection, and then at checkout both employees were very helpful and friendly, finding some sturdy floral foam to raise the ZZ pot to the right height to work in this wooden pot at my workplace office. Totally went there on a whim during my lunch break since it was close to work and had a cute name (stonehedge? love it ha) but now that I've been, I'll definitely be a return customer! Thanks again for your help!
