The Growing Place Garden Center - Aurora IL

Mother’s Day success! Emma and Erin were so helpful. I got everything I needed and a few extras. This place is enchanting and really a pleasure to shop around. If you want quality plants and knowledgeable associates who can advise you about getting started with the plants, this is the right place. I’m glad I went and you should try it too.

We went for their Garlic & Cider event and were pleasantly surprised how nice this Garden Center was. Their plants looked healthy and they offered a great variety. This is a family owned business with a very knowledgeable staff. They also have a nice gift shop selling garden and home accents and containers. Thru out the year they offer classes and tours as well as seasonal events. The Garlic & Cider event was smaller than we expected with only a handful of vendors. We did end up buying a few succulents plus they gave us a FREE mint plant. With 2 locations, Aurora and Naperville..they have grown into a garden oasis for everyone!

I love coming here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They also have a great selection of healthy plants and fun events!

I love love love The Growing Place. A large variety of plants, trees, shrubs, ground covers, etc. There are a lot of beautiful garden accessories as well. Glass stakes, pots, wind chimes, etc. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable staff. I also appreciate that the staff take the time to pack the purchased plants in boxes and to offer to bring larger items to the car.

I always love going to the Growing Place. Friendly, knowledgeable, & attentive staff paired native plants galore! I have bought perennials, natives, annuals, and veggies through them and every single plant has gone beyond expectation in our home garden we've been trying to revive after buying it with 20 years of neglect. Their quality is unbeatable & the happy prairie drops in our front landscaping prove it -- going on year 3!
