Thompson Greenery - Barnesville MN

We have had trouble growing things in black clay soil. They were really helpful and said to add 4 bags of peat moss and 4 bags of sheep manure for 20' x 30' garden. They don't have bulk sand available, but black dirt, mulch, and class 5 gravel is available. Also a good note was potatoes like sandy soil. 🙂

What a glorious establishment and greenhouse grounds to peruse and put together arrangements for spring planting. Excellent selection of everything a person would want for their landscaping, and the high quality chimes had me hypnotized for a minute too. Great place for mother/grandmothers gifts, or birthdays as well.

The Marker's Market events are great! So many talented artists and makers. The plant and garden and home item selection is top notch too!

Best selection of hard to find perennials, annuals, shrubs... anything you needs to make your landscape beautiful! They also have very unique trellises, pots, and gardening items of all sorts.

Small town greenery with an excellent selection! Properly promoting social distancing and plenty of alcohol based hand cleaner right when you walk in. Prices are right in line with the big box stores, so I say you should support small business and shop here instead!
