This flat box was full when we left. My daughter almost ate the whole thing. So she in her own words said they are by far the best strawberries she has eaten. She's a picky eater. My experience is these strawberries are very sweet and delicious. We definitely will be back when their produce is ready later in the year. This place is a hidden gem. Please support your local farmers. Shout out to Mrs Denise thank you for making this a wonderful day and thank you for the hospitality.
Great and good price but prefer U pick because we find that the pre picked berries can be overripe and don’t last too long. But we love going there with our toddler!
Such a great roadside strawberry spot! The berries are dark red and delicious. Great value at $17 for 5lbs weighed in front of you. Owner mentioned you could pick your own, and the best time for that is April-Early May. A new spring beach drive tradition begins!
We try to come a couple times when the strawberry are ready! I can't buy store bought anymore lol WDW Strawberry have spoiled my family! If you haven't been, you need to make a trip! If you have been you know how amazing they are :) You have a customer for life!!
Update 4-25-26 Have picked two Saturdays in a row per the date above. We really like this farm, the berries, you name it. Keep doing what you're doing! My original review is below. 4-27-24 Picked on the date above. Of course, the stand had pre-picked berries as well as jams for sale. The stand is shaded and also has some picnic tables beside it. There was a food truck there on the date above. We found the berries perfectly ripe with powerful sweetness. Basically, no sugar or nonsense is needed. The farm was well maintained, large, with plenty of berries to choose from. We also like how you are charged by pound. We found this route cheaper as it was a smidgen over $2 per pound. A large bucket (they provide) was just under $11. This is a fantastic value relative to other farms in the area, particularly the Johnston, Wayne, Pitt, and Greene County areas. Good job.
