Wilson's Orchard & Farm (Des Moines) - Cumming IA

We are so grateful to Wilson’s Orchard for helping make our wedding day truly unforgettable. Working with Jory, our venue coordinator, was an absolute dream. She executed every single request I had — from the champagne table to the edible drink toppers I brought in and everything in between — with total precision and care. The venue itself is breathtaking, and the food was genuinely incredible. We heard so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was, which made the experience even more special. Thank you to Jory and the entire Wilson’s Orchard team for creating such a beautiful, seamless, and memorable day for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate.

This orchard is such a treat to have so close to home. Genuinely one of the best brunches we’ve had… maybe ever. The food tasted SO GOOD and the portions are more than generous and their cider is to die for. And of course the berry picking, the tastiest little treasure hunt. The property is beautiful and even later in strawberry season, there was more than enough ripe, decent sized berries to bring home. Absolutely recommend for a family outing.

My family recently went here for the first time, we were pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful experience we had. We did the tractor ride, picked and ate so many apples then had dinner. Kids and adults were all happy! The food and drinks were all absolutely delicious. There is a lot of space for kids to run and play. Wilson’s far exceeded our expectations, everybody was asking before we left when we’re coming back. We are all looking forward to visiting again!

I had the best experience at Wilson’s Orchard in Cumming. I went to lunch with my daughter and we sat outside overlooking a wooded walking path and a beautiful pond. The setting was so peaceful, with just the right background music to make it even better. Service was top notch and the food was out of this world. The portions were incredibly generous, making my meal a delicious leftover option for later. I loved the unique little dishes and the farm-fresh ingredients made every bite stand out. One of the coolest things I learned is that there’s someone in the kitchen dedicated solely to making their sourdough, and it is absolutely incredible. We had the nicest time, the whole vibe was so welcoming, and I can’t wait to go back to try more of the menu and browse through the gift shop.

Amazing food! The play area is fun for small and big kids alike, and the gift shop has something for everyone. Not to mention the ciders from Wilson’s are solid, delicious choices with enough variety to suit everyone!
