Afton Apple Orchard is a great place for a fun outing with friends or family. It’s popular with families and offers plenty of apple varieties to choose from. I loved that they have a tasting station right before the entrance—it makes it easy to pick which apples you want to go for. The orchard also runs frequent hayrides that take you around the property, and they have a pumpkin area as well. There are lots of photo spots, kid-friendly activities, and even a small animal farm with adorable alpacas, horses, and more. Their farm store is a highlight, selling delicious apple cider donuts, pies, cider, snacks, and fall-themed décor. It does get very busy, so plan to arrive early. Once you’re stamped at the entrance, you can go in and out freely. They also have porta potties available for convenience. Overall, it’s a wonderful fall activity and a must-visit for the full seasonal experience!
An amazing place! Went with a school field trip and Mr. Randy did a great job working with the kids and everyone had a wonderful time!! Huge playground for the kids is a nice plus!!
I been here couple times during apple season to pick up fresh apples as well as buying some of their products. It very laege farm with many activities for kids to do as well as for family to gather around. They have so many different kind of fresh apples so you should check it out.
To enter the Apple field cost $7, paid for picked apples inside the building. You are given a stamp on your hand for re-entry. There is also an area for children to play in next to the field! Also a corn maze just a small walk away, admission there was $12 + a stamp on your hand for re-entry. Had lots of fun and tried their apple cider and donuts’
A great place for all ages; we could have spent the whole day here playing on the very large playground/ petting area. We picked raspberries in the U-pick but there were apples, blackberries, and flowers as well. The prices were very reasonable comparitively to some of the other orchards we've visited through the years as well. There was a tracker hayride around the fields to make accessing your U-pick very easy and fun for our three little kids.
