Carpenter Nature Center Apple Shack is a great place to go for low pesticide apples throughout fall. You can purchase 1st, 2nd and utility grade and even sign up for a sponsorship. They also sell cider, honey and a few other goods.

Stopped in early September 2025 and was recommended the Sweet Tango apples. They are delicious - juicy, sweet and a little tartness to finish. Yum!
