My mom, dog, and I visited here in July 2024. We were a little confused at first with where to get a bucket for cherries, but we quickly figured it out. I was especially happy that my dog could come with us. All 3 of us had so much fun picking cherries and they were delicious!
We'd just wrapped up picking a gagillion blueberries up the street and saw Apple Hill Orchard's sign - last day of picking cherries! They had options for pre-picked cherries or pick your own. We elected to visit the orchard. The trees were literally dripping with cherries. We sampled a few trees and found several that were outstanding. It takes no time a all to fill a bucket with cherries so we were back quickly with a gallon or two. Delicious cherries and a really friendly lady for checking out. We'll be back next year for sure.
Wow not sure you can find a more quaint perfect spot to enjoy wonderful people, beautiful scenery, and the most delicious cherries! Buy pre-picked or pick-your-own, ladders provided already set in prime locations, this is a memory my children will talk about for the rest of their lives, no doubt. This quaint stone store is perfection and McKinzie, who helped us, was the same—the most welcoming, considerate individual. 🩶🍒🌳🩶
I loved this place! Picking flowers was so much fun. The barn is beautiful and delicious country food finds, apples, berries, syrup, and honey.
Stopped in very last minute to honestly just get a few pics picking apples and maybe take a few home (out of state). The lady behind the desk said that they were “closing soon and we were too late”. I offered her the $18 dollars they charge for a 1/2 bucket just to take a couple of pictures and be on our way. She told us it was no charge and seemed very genuine. We didn’t want to take up their time and took off to do it quickly. She then said in a very sarcastic tone “ you’re welcome”, then turned to her coworker and told them we were rude. We really were not trying to be rude or disrespectful. We came before they closed and were willing to pay for just a few pics in their orchard. We immediately left. With so many options in the area, I would pass on them. Not customer friendly. If you don’t want us there, don’t pretend to be welcoming, then immediately be rude about it.
