This is one of the best nurseries I’ve ever visited. The plants are always healthy, well cared for, and beautifully displayed. They have a great variety of indoor and outdoor plants, trees, flowers, and gardening supplies. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They take the time to answer questions, give helpful advice, and truly care about helping you succeed with your garden. The store is clean, organized, and enjoyable to walk through. Every visit feels inspiring and relaxing. I always leave with exactly what I need—and usually more! Highly recommended for anyone who loves gardening or wants to start. I’ll definitely keep coming back.
I went to buy some clay pots and came home with a bunch of plants as well, including a minneola tangelo tree. They have citrus trees again and I really wanted a tangelo tree. My citrus grove is now complete. I even got everything in my two door cat!! Nice healthy plants as usual!!!
Went here yesterday to grab some soil and received excellent and knowledgeable customer service. Excellent variety of plants and soil amendments. Definitely coming back soon.
Great quality selections, always. They're an excellent assistence for me to put the pro in procrastinator. I think they're open 'til 7pm. Found the perfect flowers for mom! They had an excellent pot that would have looked nice too, but their knowledgeable staff affirmed that the flowers would much prefer being planted, which is what I was thinking, but always great to feel confident.
I’ve always loved Armstrongs for their selection and variety of plants that often can’t be found at other garden centers. However, a bizarre incident occurred today and I will no longer be shopping there. I went to pay for my items with cash, and the person at the register said they couldn’t accept it due to not having the required change. The change I would have been owed was minimal, and the person at the register didn’t even check the drawer to see what was available. A customer before me was able to pay with cash and their change was given, so I’m not sure why I wasn’t giving the same consideration. I’m assuming they have all the technologies and abilities that determine whether cash is fake. However none of this was done and I left empty handed. I was able to go to Lowe’s and they took my cash just fine. My only conclusion is that this was based on some sort of bias or discrimination, it’s beyond disappointing. I’ll miss Armstrongs selection, I won’t miss the humiliation.
