Barson Greenhouse - Westland MI

This is my go to Nursery at the beginning of the planting season due to the wide variety of annuals, perennials, hanging baskets and exotic plants. The prices are very reasonable and would definitely recommend this place to friends and family! The nursery also carries house plants, potting soil, compost, wooden planters, plastic and ceramic. Garden decor and accessories. If you have a fairly garden you are in luck with the cute figurines. The butterfly house is absolutely beautiful with a little pond next to it.

My family has been going to Barsons greenhouse for years. Always beautiful flowers, vegetables and herbs. Today while walking around carrying my toddler a employee offered me a wagon with a shade cover so i could walk around and look at flowers and she could enjoy the wagon. Such a simple gesture of kindness ment so much to me. The employees here are always friendly and helpful.

The growing season is just getting started and Barson's is a must shop stop for the best plants and garden supplies! Barson's is one of the view nurseries in Detroit that carry Dairy Doo organic compost. Their selection of herbs and garden vegetable plants is top-notch and there is virtually no end to the annual in ornamental flowering plants. It's a beautiful day. The sun is shining. It's the perfect time to plant a garden!

THE BEST! Barsons is the only place I shop at for my garden needs! They dont spray pesticides either so I can always trust them with my milkweed and butterfly needs. (Thank you SO much for that guys!!) The butterfly house is a beautiful experience and so is feeding their fish in the koi fish pond. They employees are really helpful too, my questions are never left unanswered. Its Barsons or no where for me. ☺️🏆 ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟

I was super disappointed when I went to this greenhouse. There was minimal signage and I couldn’t really tell how the plants were organized. I sort of just had to wander around. After doing this for a few minutes, I went back to the front to ask for help. The staff was not very nice at all, even though they were not crowded. The lady who I spoke with, was not welcoming at all even after I told her it was my first time there. Honestly, the only reason why I drove 25 minutes is because they would never answer the phone. I could have saved my time and gas if they would act like an actual business and answer the phone. Again they were not busy as there were less than 15 people in the place if that.
