Bessey Ridge Farms - Pick Your Own Blueberries - Albion ME

The Bessey Ridge farmers are super nice and accommodating. It feels like you are truly going to a family farm. They had about 5-6 varieties of blueberries ready for picking. My husband and I filled up our two quarts for $5 each. So affordable and reasonable. We had a look at the peach trees but they were not ready for harvest. Wished we lived in the area to come back and buy some peaches. Overall, what a great experience and will definitely come back next year!

We found Bessey Ridge via Google Maps and are very happy we stopped here. There were four kinds of blueberries to pick when we visited on a Wednesday in later July 2023. The price was very reasonable. They accept cash and credit. The location is beautiful and well- maintained. The blueberry bushes were also carefully maintained and full of blueberries. The highlight though is Jeff who was super welcoming and walked each guest to the field and explained the different varieties, tastes and how to select based on your preference. I would happily return here. Of note, while dogs are not allowed in the blueberry picking field, they have a mowed trail to their pond and shady places for Fido to rest and relax. Definitely a five star recommendation.

Great experience for our two boys. Tons of ripe berries to pick, really nice staff and they even give you these cute wooden carriers to use while picking. Not at all crowded. Totally worth the drive! Check their Facebook to know what days are open for picking.

This place was so adorable!!!!!! The (what I assume is the owner) was super friendly and explained everything for us. The prices were so cheap and reasonable. 10/10 would come back.

Friendly staff and lots of blueberries for picking! It was not crowded at all and the price was very reasonable. Definitely worth the drive!
