LOVE this place! The people and Mrs Betty are always so inviting! Appreciated the lift out to the berry bushes on the golf cart! As always the blueberries are amazing! I’ll be out Saturday to pick another 2 gallons! My blueberry loving Lab loves them too! She’d have a field day out there eating the ones off the ground!
Miss Betty is such a sweet woman who loves what she does. I sincerely hope that she doesn't have to sell the farm after the passing of her husband. This is my favorite place to pick berries, always so plump and flavorful! My kids love it too!!
Husband and I were there this Memorial weekend and absolutely loved it. We picked two beautiful gallons of some of the best blueberries ever. No chemicals used and the environment is very nice and laid back. Mrs. Betty is a real sweetheart we love her. Her doggy Baby is a cutie pie. We can't wait to go back,
My husband, our 4 children, and myself have gone to Betty's once a year for the last 4 years. I checked the website just before the season started and there were no changes to the price ($10 for 1gal bucket). It's my fault for not reading all the signs when we got there.. My 4 kids, their 2 cousins and I went to pick today. We had a full bucket. When we were ready to pay for our berries, she asked if I knew it was $5/person + $10/bucket?! I understand they deal with people/kids picking berries and throwing them down, essentially wasting them. She said she also has a problem with people eating while they're picking... WHAT?! Eating while picking is half the fun!! $5/person is excessive. I would have spent $45 for 1 gallon of berries, when i can buy a 5lb bag at Sam's or Costco for $8 and not have to stand in the heat picking them. We won't be back.
My husband and I went there and picked 3 gallon of blueberries. This is an awesome place. People are very friendly and down to earth. They don't use any pesticides on their blueberry bushes, so that is a big plus. We will definitely return to pick more blueberries in the future. Oh and you can't beat the price.
