Came in this evening to buy some daffodils to celebrate spring, as they are my favorite flower. Immediately in the front of the store there is a racist minstrel figurine proudly on display. The woman who works there showed me the daffodils and I said “yikes what’s with this figurine” and she dismissed me and continued to try and sell me some daffodils. I asked her “you know what this is right?” And she immediately dismissed me repeatedly saying “I don’t know I’m not the owner I don’t know what it is I don’t know” which her repeated dismissal and refusal to acknowledge it tells me she knows exactly what this is and has no issue. Really poor customer service and no accountability. Clearly Brookdale farms is not a safe space for black people or any minorities- which is even more disappointing as they’ve posted about their Jamaican farm workers on their Twitter. AI graphics on all social media and website, disappointing to see a farm participate in something that is proven bad for the environment. Will not shop here or buy any products anywhere else. It’s 2026. Do better.

We bought our Christmas tree here last yr, had a great experience, so didn't think twice about going again this yr. $125 and 8 days later and its already dying. Fresh cut and into the tree stand with water within an hr of purchasing it. Noticed there were some dead pieces but figured thats somewhat normal, pulled them off and let it sit so the branches could fall overnight. Adding water every day and keeping the tree stand full. By day 6 I noticed a ton of pine needles on the floor, and more dead branches. Day 8 now and most of the tree is very dry and brittle and lower branches limping. I haven't even added the ornaments yet cuz Im worried at this rate there is no way it will last until Christmas. I did try calling the Farm but no one answers the phone. Edit: They reached out immediately and offered to replace the tree which I thought was amazing costumer service. They also recommended that we keep the tree in water, outside or in a garage for the first night, after the fresh cut to help the tree take in the most water. We did bring it in right away so maybe thats where we went wrong. Either way, I really appreciate them replacing the tree, it means a lot to us!

Went apple picking, which was awesome! The store was a bit pricey, but the applesauce and rhubarb strawberry jelly i got was totally worth the price! Delicious!

A great place to visit for fresh fruit, veggies and more. We picked our own juicy peaches, blueberries and raspberries. We visited the store across the street and left with honey sodas, soaps, jams, apple cider donuts and more.
