Cherry Mountain Farm and General Store - Rutherfordton NC

Came to visit and must say you can’t miss the water tower entrance sign. Love it. Drive along the gravel driveway and park. Parking seems limited. Entered the store and was amazed at how much was packed into this little store. Upon entry to the store your hit with comforting cool air and an aroma. There is something for everyone in this store, including an impressive Case knife collection and sales and a coffee shop up front. Staff was friendly and helpful. Went outside and to the right and visited the angora goats and pigs. Was a great visit for our family.

What a great find! This is a fun place to visit. Great products and a large selection of knives. Staff is really friendly. You may explore the property and feed the goats. They have added gem mining and host other events throughout the year.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! It was our first time visiting here and we loved it! Everyone was so friendly and kind. The atmosphere is wonderful. We will definitely be back. Thank you for all you all do!

What a hidden gem! We had so much fun interacting with the friendly sheep and dogs. The entire place is so well thought out and very cute! I loved feeding the sheep. Great selection in the general store also. Can’t wait to go back

Had a wonderful tour of the farm. Got to feed and groom the pigs. We learned about the Angora goats and fed them also. A wonderful place to visit. Debbi was an awesome tour guide. They also have a nice store on the farm where you can purchase an assortment of souvenirs.
