Clay's Garden Center - Blackstone VA

Don’t tell me I haven’t reviewed this place yet? I love it here! My husband knows better than to bring me here! I could spend all day watching the plants in the greenhouse. They’ve got awesome local grown fruits, veggies, honey, salsa and spices. There’s even a cute deli. Super sweet and helpful staff too Anyone ever try these super cool soils?

Great little garden center stocked with an eclectic mix of outdoor/garden decor, produce, and indoor/outdoor plants. Good selection of succulents at competitive prices. The café inside is a hidden gem for a quick lunch.

I love this place, plants of all kinds well cared for, I want to highlight the service of the person who works here a gentleman I do not remember his name but he is always taking care of the plants, kindly helped me find what I needed gave me recommendations and was very kind. They also have organic vegetables, and much more, very recommended.

We went in looking for knock out roses, had to find someone to locate them. Afterwards I had to find someone to get the price and was told they were $34.99. Then we went in and they rang them up as. $39.99 which I was ok with. But it waa the rude manager or Person in charges attitude towards us that bothered me. They should mark prices on all items. Very disapointed with their customer service. Be carefull , When you ask prices.

Clay's Garden Center is a wonderful slice of all that is good to offer here in Blackstone. Yes, they sell plants and garden supplies. I love walking through their green houses! They also sell locally raised meats, fresh local fruits and veg and tons of locally homemade canned items, pies, breads, eggs, etc. The store is filled with wonderful gift shop items like yard flags and bird houses. Their newest addition is a little cafe in the back of the store where you can get yummy homemade lunch items. Small town charm everywhere you look. Clay's rocks! Check it out!
