We love this place. The staff are friendly and helpful. The fall festival is great for 3-11 years and the young at heart with activities, animals, and food vendors. It is an adventure for the entire family. The Apple Orchard allows you to pick your own or purchase a bag in the store. Pumpkins abound, and new this year, an opportunity to harvest raspberries. Families can ride the tractor through the orchard, stopping to pick their favorite. While you wait for the tractor, you can stroll through the corn maze or purchase your favorite colored pumpkin. Bring water, sunblock, and insect spray. Be aware that bees are abundant. An orchard can't grow without its bee population. If you leave the bees alone, they will leave you alone. Apple doughnuts and other baked goods are available for purchase in the store.
Its a really great place for a family or group to go. It only took about 2 hours for my kids to zoom through most of it, but we were there 6pm-8pm and they loved it. For the price and the entertainment you get out of it, it's worth the visit.
Best place to one day tour in Sioux Falls. Superb Apple Farm.
We come here every year! The kids love it and we spent 4+ hours here when we go. For $16 a person I think it is well worth it with the amount of attractions available. Corn pit, bouncy spot, hay slides, petting zoo, zip line, rubber duck race, bubble station, train rides, and MORE is all included with the admition. Apple Canons are only $5 for a bucket of apples to shoot which the kids always love. The food trucks can be pricey but that is not the orchards fault. I also got apple cider donuts and they where so warm and delicious 😋 We only do this once a year but spending $100 for admition, apple canons, treats, and baked goods from the store is a great deal in today's economy. Well worth it.
Every year, they have more than the year before. They never fail to impress! This year, let's see if I can list all the things: tons of places for great pictures, shopping, food trucks, apple cannon, bubble zone, petting zoo, tractor train rides, corn pit, zip line, carnaval style basketball, hay bail maze, face painting, kids pipe crawl, tire pile climbing, giant chess, pillow jumping, ring on a rope game thing, corn maze, small ferris wheel, tractor ride, and apple picking! There is so much to do! The kids have a blast but they will love the corn pit and that's only an issue because of how dusty they get. Because it's shaded, the corn stays cool so it feels great and the kids love to play in it. They get very worn out which is great but they will get super dusty!!! Take your time and enjoy the day! And if you do the apple cannon, bring ear plugs. It's so loud! Dogs can come to the orchard but are not allowed in the festival area so don't bring your dogs and then leave them in the car while the kids play since there isn't shade in the parking area and dogs will get too hot in cars.
