Culver's Garden Center & Greenhouse - Marion IA

We visited Culver’s Greenhouse to replace a tree we had previously purchased there. After locating a similar variety on display, we approached two employees for assistance. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of basic customer service expectations. Both employees were engaged in conversation and appeared reluctant to help. When we asked about additional availability, they simply stated that what was on display was all they had—without asking any follow-up questions, confirming the specific tree we were looking for, or offering to check inventory. They did not move from their spot or attempt to guide us in any way. As a result, we left without making a purchase. We came in ready to buy, but the lack of engagement and initiative from staff made it impossible to move forward.

This place is utterly beautiful inside and out and the plants here are actually HEALTHY! They are well kept so you know you'll be leaving with something worth the price here. The variety is certainly better than most I've discovered here. The quality is top notch. The employees are willing to assist in the buying process which is always nice.

Updated review. Just had a painting class there. So much fun! Went through the greenhouse and was so impressed with how beautifully decorated it is with holiday decor. My original review below- I had a problem with a lilac bush they planted for me. They were very helpful. This is our 3rd house we have used them for our landscaping needs!

I always enjoy a visit/shopping at Culver's, this year seemed even better - incredible variety and quantity. Be prepared though, I've noticed a big jump in costs at all nurseries I've visited this spring plus online. companies

A wonderful garden center that is located just outside of the marion coty limits. They have many trees to choose from. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
