Family Farms - Plantersville TX

A true diamond. This was such a great place to visit. Beyond the fresh produce you can pick yourself, there is so much to see and enjoy here. Vast amount of space for kids, multiple playscapes and fun structures (includes a bouncy house too). Exotic animals such as a friendly kangaroo, a timid tortoise, a llama, and energetic lemurs (soon to be housed in their own habitat). We spent hours here just walking around and had a blast. The store is small and rustic, the bathrooms are well accommodating and clean (changing tables in the men's and women's). They also offer a few cabins for those who want to stay overnight, though I didn't get to see the interior or the rates. All in all, a fantastic find. I'm excited to bring the family back and explore more!

We had such a fun day! Strawberries were plentiful and taste great. The kids played for hours with all the activities and loved visiting the animals. Worth the trip!

I went to this Family Farm for the first time with my younger brother and sister and it was a high way robbery. It was $5 a person to get in (which wasn’t that bad) but when we went to pick the strawberries there were no signs indicating how much it would cost for the strawberries. So my siblings were picking alot of strawberries. Then when we got to the checkout counter the lady weighed the strawberries and simply asked for my credit card and then she showed me the receipt that showed $50 dollars for about 35 strawberries and the entrance fee. I looked at the receipt for 5 minutes in shock and disbelief. I could have bought the same amount of strawberries at HEB for $9!!! Anywho, the bounce house and big barrels is the only way that they deserve 2 stars. Honestly forget about the strawberries and just go for the bounce house! God bless!

This place is incredible. Has something for all ages and the strawberries are delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

Fun experience for my 3 year old to pick strawberries for the first time. He had a blast and enjoyed seeing the various animals on the farm as well. Unfortunately the play area didn’t seem very well maintained - there were screws sticking out and piles of poop around the play structures.
