Fitch's Farm Market - Avon OH

First time here today. Delicious strawberries & a super peaceful atmosphere. Will be back next strawberry season! Also can’t wait to see what other produce is to come this summer.

Nasty worker. I’ve always had great experiences going to this farm over the past six years. Recently, my uncle who doesn’t speak or understand a single word of English joined my family to pick some tomatoes. He’s never been vegetable picking before in America, so he was really excited. While my family was picking tomatoes, my uncle decided he wanted to pick a pepper. Just one single pepper. Keep in mind, he didn’t know it wasn’t allowed because he doesn’t understand the language. A nasty, rude worker approached him, put his hands on my uncle, ripped the pepper out of his hand, and launched it into the air, all while berating him. Like seriously, what is wrong with you? A simple, polite explanation like, “You can’t do that; we’ll have to toss it out,” or “You need to buy a new basket if you want to pick peppers,” would have been more than enough. He’s really lucky my uncle has a lot more grace than I do clearly he feels so comfortable to commit assault and battery. Should be a little more grateful I didn’t call the cops all because he overreacted over a pepper. Especially a pepper with no intention on stealing it but not knowing he couldn’t pick it.

Love to get fresh-picked vegetables here specially pickling cucumbers every summer. The price is much lower than other farm markets around this area. Love to self pick strawberries, hot peppers,... 👍😅

This place is great. We go every year to go strawberry picking, my daughter loves it. They sell plenty of other things in their shop. I definitely would check this place out. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Picture it....a 2.5# head of red lettuce! Almost took up the entire cooler. Staff member was kind enough to give me a little ice. Maybe a little pricey for produce, but for the quality, so worth it. Remember, this isn't Walmart.
