Good Roots Farm and Gardens - Brookings SD

We had my Daughter's wedding out there in September of 2023. My Daughter was really very adamant about having the wedding there...even if the other people who went with her to look the place over thought the venue was a bit too small for the amount of people invited. We added a few things...but the bottom line is...We had a great time and the venue was amazing! The people that owned it (Bill and Julie) are just wonderful! They helped us navigate everything from who to contact to rent a tent,utilizing the kitchen, to the set-up, through the teardown, and everything in between with smiles and friendly and warm advice. The venues' flowers all around and rustic little touches were just a perfect match to what my Daughters Kaesey and Mikaela had envisioned and helped to accent the work they did on the flowers and decorations. Thank you so much for helping make my Daughter's wedding such a great one!!

Lovely place and amazing people. They built wheelchair ramps for my brother on the spot for my daughters wedding. They were so helpful and wonderful. The venue is beautiful. 100% recommend for any event. Brookings was also a great town.

My brother had a wedding there, spacious grounds and lovely venue! Also, had pizza there anther time, it was Tasty! Thank you for Bill and Julie Ross!

The wedding I attended here was held outside the gardens under the willow tree. It was gorgeous. So much so that I forgot to take pictures. The reception and dinner was held inside the old barn. The dinner was upstairs and the dance was on the main level. There were clean modern bathrooms next to the barn. They also had goats on the property in a pen accessible to the venue. (Bonus!) I would highly recommend this for your family get togethers or wedding location. Beautiful gardens and green house.

Sister was married here. Fantastic people! Great place the barn is awesome! Very nice people! I hope more pictures of the finished product will be posted.
