Sanderson Gardens - Aurora SD

Such a lovely and laid-back place to pick fresh produce. They have such a large selection and are extremely welcoming. I have been here several times and it never disappoints. They have containers for picking, but I would recommend bringing something to take your bounty home. Highly recommend venturing to this delightful place!

My family and I had a great time here together picking raspberries. It didn’t take us long at all to pick our fill! They also had a small selection of jam/jelly, and a garden with tomatoes & peppers. They also had some fun amenities for the kids including an enclosed sandpit. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a whole lot of fun picking strawberries! There were lots of fun little activities the kids can do. I almost made it all the way down the balance beam logs but fell off 3/4ths of the way. It's a really long and tricky log beam but fun. We were directed to where we should pick in the field. We brought our own buckets and, just so you know, you can fill up an ice cream bucket in about 30 minutes or so depending on you fast or slow you might go. This was a pleasant experience for sure! They do cash or check. If they did take a card, I didn't see it posted anywhere and I forgot to ask. We did have a great time!
