Helmi's Gardens - Columbia MO

I adore this place ❤️ loved the vibes in their giant greenhouse. There are two cats that are sweet as can be 🐈 and a lot of unique plants. We ended up finding a giant to add to our plant family for only $50. They helped load it for us as well. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed our experience. Edit: went back and loved that they have a Native plant section ❤️ I ended up buying all perennials, but the staff was very informative and taught me a lot that will help me maintain my flower beds. They also have a peacock and chickens in the back near the native plants 😍❣️ really cool unexpected surprise.

I love this place. Totally worth the drive out with all the amazing plants and decor. They carry more decorative pots than any other spot I've found in Columbia. They also have really cool vintage flea-market-type booths filled with delicate treasures. They also have things you'd need to 'scape your yard and it's very cool to see enormous stones from Oregon covered in moss!

Beautiful nursery with a wealth of common and rare plants. The staff is super friendly and helpful, answering questions and happily giving plant care tips/tricks. Helmi’s private collection includes a show-stopping Staghorn Fern that you don’t want to miss!! Great pottery/pots from local and non-local artists and amazing prices!

Excellent nursery. Loads of flower pots in a variety of sizes. Larger plants are available to help you add plants to an established garden. Numerous tropicals. Everything looked very healthy. Prices were a little high, but I don't mind because they are much healthier than cheap box store plants. I'm from out of town, but I plan on returning in the fall to buy trees and shrubs.

Such a fun and nice place to go to! Loved all the plant selections and variety. My boyfriend ended up getting a flowering quince that he’s been wanting forever. Loved seeing the animals. The owner was so nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. Such a beautiful nursery to go to!
