Hidden Gem Orchard - Southbury CT

I had a great experience along with my son and family. I am so glad I found this truly hidden gem that is only 55 miles from Rye, Westchester, NY. The Apple Orchard is not busy, non commerical and that is what I wanted for my family. This Apple Orchard is very well managed. The owner is very friendly, he spent good amount of time chit-chatting with us. We really enjoyed picking apples, taking pictures and just hung around because we enjoyed looking at all the apple trees that were loaded with apples and weather was super beautiful.

Exceptional if you are an Apple connoisseur! You can experience true Apple picking and a hay ride. No corn mazes or much traditional roadside merch which I like. Simple but beautiful. Note there was only one port-o potty! So take care of business before you go.

Hidden Gem Orchard is a Gem worth finding! The Farm Stand is always filled with incredible varieties including heirlooms that you can't find anywhere else. If you get there early enough you can snag some killer cider donuts too. It's a terrific spot for families to pick-your own apples. The hay wagon takes you for a great ride up the hill to the orchard where it is a treat to fill bags right from the source. And what a view! No doubt, the best apples from our favorite orchard. Always worth the trip!

It is a hidden gem! We went at the end of the season but they had plenty of apples. We took a hay ride to the trees. Only open Fri, Sat and Sun. Little market for apples and a few other items. Has been there for 3 years and I hope they succeed!

Hidden Gem Orchards is truly a hidden gem. Not only is it scenic, but it's full of unique and delicious apples. Stop here after exploring the nearby walking trails and you'll have the perfect fall day.
