Pumpkinseed Hill Farm of Jones Family Farms - Shelton CT

We had an a amazing strawberry picking at the farm. Unlike most u pick farms we’ve been to, jones family farm is extremely organized. Farm staff was along the way to guide you where to go, and I really appreciated that the strawberry field was clean, dry and most importantly very minimal wasted strawberries. After having been to many apple picking places where the orchards can stink of rotten apples, jones family farm impressed me and I can say it’s definitely a much more pleasant experience. The strawberries were plump and sweet we ate some as soon as we got to the drinks / snack area as we couldn’t wait to get home and also forgot to take a picture lol.

Such an awesome family experience for fall. Prices for pumpkins range $5-$30 depending on size but they give you $5 off per ticket.

Pumpkinseed Hill has been a family Halloween tradition for decades. This year, however, was above and beyond. There was so much more to do.

So much fun in one place! And we didn't even bring kids! A fun corn maze, hay ride, huge pumpkin patch, and all kinds of gourds, too! We saw the goats and chickens, the sunflowers and beautiful fall foliage on the surrounding hills. This is a great place to bring a family for fall festivities!

We stopped in on a beautiful day. Plenty of parking that is directed by the attendants. All of the employees were pleasant and helpful. It is not a free for all. You get 2 lines of strawberries to pick from depending on your group size. Beautiful looking strawberries that were sweet and delicious. There is a discount when you book online with four or more people. You are able to pay and book a time slot. It’s a little pricey so it wouldn’t hurt.
